Vaughan is a multimedia artist working in fine art drawing and painting, along with fashion design and illustration. Her creativity was nurtured at an early age, thanks to creative family members and mentors. Vaughan’s favorite themes and sources of inspiration point to everything from fairytales to the beauty of natural surroundings in the coastal town she calls home.
Vaughan worked for the late Joan van Roden of Beach Street Studios in Manchester, MA as a summer intern in 2002. She completed foundational art studies at Montserrat College of Art in 2007, where she studied life drawing with the memorable Timothy Harney. She completed her BFA in Fashion Design at the Academy of Art University in 2011 in the beautiful city of San Francisco.
